I agree with Crystal Falace not sure why lanzini goes straight back into the team after another anonymous appearance against Sheffield united when Yarmo at least tried to create chances

Not sure i've watched a single minute of any Newcastle game this year but their team on paper is crap and didnt their lord and saviour longstaff get sent off at the weekend?
one we really need to go for, would be tempted to have a midfield 3 of Rice with 2 of Lanzini, Fornals and Snodgrass.
As much as people like to bash him i still think Anderson is a key member of the team who needs to play as he appears to be the only genuinely fast attacking player we have.

We´re not getting the best out of Haller. Last year for Frankfurt he played in a 3-4-1-2 (Jovic alongside, Rebic behind and some great crosses from Kostic out wide). Need to replicate that as much as we can. If not two up front, need at least someone behind / around him. (Lanzini is too deep for me these days, he needs to be in and around the opp box)

If you leave out Lanzini and Fornals for poor form surely you have to leave out Anderson too whos arguably been the worst of the 3?...

To be honest I'm not too bothered about who's in and who's out. What needs to change is the way the manager gets them playing, both in terms of tactics and attitude. Why he just does nothing about Haller being so isolated is completely beyond me - any fool can see it isn't working. And then add the fact that some of these primadonnas need to look more like they're playing for the shirt.

i would be tempted to put Yarmolenko right up alongside haller as they seem to link up well, or we need to say to our number 10 that they need to just get forward and maybe not have to track back as much.
Fornals seemed to be running onto the end of haller flick ons when given the chance at 10
